THCA and Hemp Products
What is THCA?
THCA (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) is the raw, non-psychoactive precursor to Delta-9 THC found in hemp and cannabis plants. In its raw form, THCA does not produce psychoactive effects. When heated — through smoking, vaporizing, or cooking — THCA undergoes decarboxylation and converts to Delta-9 THC, which is the psychoactive compound in cannabis. This means smoking or vaping THCA hemp flower or concentrates produces the same effects as traditional cannabis.
Is THCA legal?
Hemp-derived THCA is federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill as long as the finished product contains less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight. However, state laws vary significantly. Some states restrict hemp-derived cannabinoids beyond Delta-9. We strongly recommend checking your state’s hemp regulations before ordering. We comply with federal law and only ship to states where these products are legal.
Will THCA products get me high?
Yes, when smoked or vaporized. THCA converts to Delta-9 THC through heat, producing cannabis-equivalent psychoactive effects. THCA products sold at Elevated Haze are intended for adults 21+ who understand they are purchasing products that produce psychoactive effects when used as directed (smoked or vaporized). Edible THCA products also produce psychoactive effects as the compound converts through digestion.
What is the difference between THCA and Delta-9 THC?
THCA is the raw acid form found in the hemp plant before heating. Delta-9 THC is what THCA becomes after heat is applied (decarboxylation). In terms of effect when consumed through smoking or vaping, they are functionally equivalent — you’re getting Delta-9 THC when you inhale. The THCA designation matters for federal legal compliance: raw THCA flower tests as hemp because the Delta-9 THC content is under 0.3%. The key distinction is in the raw plant, not in the experience when consumed.
What is THCP?
THCP (tetrahydrocannabiphorol) is a naturally occurring cannabinoid with approximately 33 times the CB1 receptor binding affinity of Delta-9 THC. Some products in our lineup (Bodega Boyz Deuces THCP version, Domewrecker gummies and dabs) contain THCP. These are significantly more potent than standard THCA products and are intended for experienced users only.
What is live resin?
Live resin is an extraction format that uses freshly harvested, flash-frozen hemp plant material rather than dried and cured flower. The fresh-freeze process preserves volatile terpenes that typically evaporate during drying and curing. The result is a more terpene-rich extract with better flavor accuracy than standard distillate. Several vapes in our lineup use live resin: Bodega Boyz Deuces, HiXotic Jeffrey 3G, and HiXotic Live Resin Gummies.
What are liquid diamonds?
Liquid diamonds is a premium extraction format where THCA crystallizes into pure diamond structures, then gets reintroduced into terpene-rich sauce. The result combines high-purity THCA with excellent terpene content — better flavor and potency than standard distillate. Boutiq Switch V5, Domewrecker 5G Disposable, and Litty Live Diamond use this format.
What is a hashhole pre-roll?
A hashhole (or donut pre-roll) is a pre-roll with a core of concentrate running through the center of the flower. As it burns, the flower and concentrate combust simultaneously, producing a more potent hit than standard pre-rolls. The Torch THCA Hashhole 2G and HiXotic Jeffrey Hash Holes 4G both use this format.
Ordering and Shipping
Do you ship THCA products?
Yes, we ship hemp-derived THCA products to states where they are legal. We cannot ship to states that have restricted hemp cannabinoids or THCA specifically. Please check your state’s laws before ordering. We are not responsible for orders placed to states with restrictions.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping times vary by location and carrier. Most orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Standard shipping typically arrives within 3–7 business days. You will receive tracking information once your order ships.
What is your return policy?
Due to the nature of hemp and consumable products, we do not accept returns on opened products. If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue and we will work to make it right. Functional Mushrooms and Kratom
Are your mushroom products legal?
Yes. All functional mushroom products at Elevated Haze (COLORS FLOW, ILLUMINATE, ASCEND, and Microdot) use legal adaptogenic mushrooms — Lion’s Mane, Reishi, Cordyceps, and similar species. None contain psilocybin. These are federally legal dietary supplement products.
What is kratom and is it legal?
Kratom (Mitragyna speciosa) is an herbal supplement derived from a Southeast Asian plant. It is federally legal in the United States but banned in some states and cities. Check your local laws before purchasing. Rave Kratom products are sold as herbal supplements for adult use only.
Will the mushroom products make me hallucinate?
No. Legal functional mushroom products do not contain psilocybin and do not produce psychedelic effects. They work through adaptogenic compounds in the mushrooms (like hericenones in Lion’s Mane) that support cognitive function and mood without psychoactive effects.

What THCA product should I start with as a beginner?
For vapes: the Litty Loaded Live Diamond 1G Disposable is the best entry point — smallest commitment, quality extract, easy to use. For pre-rolls: the Bodega Boyz Chopped Cheese 2G or GOO’D Snow Cones pre-rolls in a balanced hybrid strain. Start with 1–2 puffs and wait 5–10 minutes before taking more. For edibles: start with a quarter of an ACE Ultra gummy and wait the full 90 minutes before considering more.
What is the strongest product you carry?

How do I store THCA products?
Vapes: store upright at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat. Heat degrades the oil and can cause leaking. Flower: store in an airtight container in a cool, dark place — avoid plastic bags for long-term storage (use glass or humidity-controlled jars). Edibles: store at room temperature in a cool, dry location. Concentrates: store in the jar with the lid sealed, away from heat and light.
